10a.m. Clifton Kingfishers v Moorside Mavericks (scorecard)
Congratulations to the Kingfishers who "fly" into the final with a 104 run win against the Macericks. After putting on an openong partnership of 147, Adam Holt scored 82 off 37 including 5 6s. His partner Gareth Cross then went on to a magnificent unbeaten 123 also scoring 5 6s as the home side scored 240 in their allotted 20 overs. Joseph Lovell put on 45 in good time for the Mavericks but they lost 4 of the top batsmen in the space of 11 runs including the pro and it was Matt Wilkes woth 3 for 19 in 3 who did the damage.

1:30p.m. Heyside Hyenas v Egerton Earthquakes (scorecard)
Congratulations to the Hyenas who beat the Earthquakes by 8 wickets with 3 overs to spare. All the Earthquakes batsmen had chipped in to their 151 off to 20 overs, Heyside's Tom Avery took 3 for 34. But it was not enough and Heyside's reply was swift and half centuries from Chirag Khurana and Alcindo Holder took them home to make it 2 finals for Heyside in the day.

5 p.m. Final Kingfishers v Hyenas
Congratulations to the Kingfishers, winners of our GMCL20 Premier competition once again and they will go through to the ECB competition representing GMCL in the National competition. They won by 23 runs as the Hyenas could not chase down the Kingfishers 187. Luke Perry had top scored with 59 for the Kingfishers and Dorsey & Wilkes got the wickets needed. Well done Kingfishers
