It was a very low scoring day in Premier 2, with no team reaching more than 165.

Stand continued their surge up the table with a 3 wicket win at Glossop. Pro and captain Chris Williams once again led from the front with 6 wickets and 76* as his side moved above their opponents with 7 games to go. Denton West won a tight game at home to Bradshaw on Saturday, before falling to a second defeat of the season against Walshaw on Sunday. Hashan Ranasinghe took 5/29 against Bradshaw, but Bradshaw fought hard to defend their 135, reducing the league leaders to 99/8 with 10 overs remaining, but George Hill (36*) brought his side home. On Sunday, it was Josh Rhodes who was in the wickets for Walshaw with 5/30 to bowl out West for 127 to move upto 4th.

Edgworth and Woodhouses played the highest scoring game of the day, with the away side coming away with the points with a comfortable chase of Woodhouses’ 164. Heywood and Bury both made light work of the bottom 2 placed teams who still have just the one league win between them. Chris Humphreys took 6/18 at the Paddock as Royton were bowled out for 109, and Sam Nolan-Massey took 5/34 as Bury bowled out Monton for 125.
