Denton St Lawrence CC defeated Royton CC in the Derek Kay Cup Final at Roe Green Cricket Club.
Royton won the toss and chose to bat, Orme and Khurana opened, Orme was out second ball, Khurana and Sinkenson took the score onto 53 before a collapse saw Khurana, Lovell, and Sinkinson all out and the score was 57-4.Joy and Holder took the score to 92 before a further collapse saw Royton lose 6 wickets for 12 runs. 3 wickets for both Kirwin and Sonczak with 2 wickets for Hornbuckle, one for Tighe and a run out saw Royton all out for 104.
In reply Denton St Lawrence scored the 105 runs for the loss off five wickets, Hornbuckle top scored with 31 closely followed by Kirwin with 26, the total was reached in the 31st over.
