Lancashire Cricket Foundation Apprenticeships 2021........ would you like to work in cricket for Lancashire Cricket Foundation...?
Lancashire Cricket Foundation is excited to announce the launch of their new Apprenticeship Programme for 2021 and would like to hear from any young people with a passion for cricket who would like to join our team of coaches out in the community and inspire the next generation of children to love our wonderful game.
In partnership with the training provider SCL www.wearescl.co.uk , we are offering the opportunity of an 18-month Apprenticeship starting in September 2021.
We are looking to recruit young people from across the North West region to work alongside the Foundation's coaches to support the delivery of cricket in schools and communities. The programme will also include opportunities to gain experience of the wide range of projects the Foundation is engaged with, as well as being part of the activation team on match days at Emirates Old Trafford.
So, if you love cricket and want to make a positive difference to the lives of people in our region then please go to our website www.lancashirecricket.co.uk/foundation and read the FAQs for further information before downloading an application form.
Completed forms should be e-mailed to iseddon@lancashirecricket.co.uk

Lancashire Women & Girls Inter League Programme 2021
Just a reminder that the closing date for the Lancashire Women & Girls Inter League Programme 2021 is Friday 18th June.
We are seeking nominations at U12 (school year 5, 6 or 7), U14 (school year 8 or 9) and open age level (school year 10 to adult).
We are relying on your assistance in nominating the appropriate level of player, this programme sits below County cricket for women and girls and we are hopeful to have enough players of the appropriate standard to field four regional teams per age group, combing clubs from adjacent local leagues.
You don't need to have a women or girls team at your club to nominate a player, if you have girls not in our County set up that have some experience of hard ball cricket we want to hear from you. Please don't be hesitant in nominating, we're happy to receive a large pool of players.
At open age level we are encouraging you to think about players of all ages, again mindful of those who are playing hard ball cricket.
The closing date for nominations is Friday 18th June.
Please complete the attached form, save, and then send by email to the address on the form.
The criteria for nomination in all age groups is as follows:
The player must satisfy one of the following conditions:
Live in Lancashire, play for a club in Lancashire, attend a school in Lancashire or play for a club which is affiliated to Lancashire Cricket.
Players who are currently in our County Squads don't need nominating.
Thanks,
Mel
