Thornham CC are holding a memorial game for Dr Anthony Crook on Sunday 8th May at their ground.
Tony was a huge figure not only in the history of Thornham CC but also local and Lancashire wide cricket in general. There is a link below to an article on Rochdale online from when he passed away in March of 2020 due to Covid.

The event is open to all clubs and nyone who may wish to pay their respects to Tony.
The format is 1pm start, 35 overs and it is a Captain's Select XI vs Chairman's Select XI. There will be current and past players playing, all of whom will have had some connection with Tony in their life. We are also intending to plant a tree in his memory, and Barbara (Tony's wife) will be there, alongside as many of her family as possible.
