We are delighted to announce the new sponsor for the GMCL Cup Competitions as Tetley’s, in a move that sees all seven competitions re-named with the Tetley’s brand.
All seven cup competitions will now be re-named, including The Derek Kay GMCL 1st XI Cup Final Sponsored by Tetley's.
Tetley’s hopes to build on its relationship with cricket fans across the UK, following the announcement earlier this year that it is the official beer of the Emerald Stadium, Leeds – including Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
Jon Roberts, Carlsberg UK Wholesale Account Manager commented. "The GMCL has grown rapidly and we were keen to align our brands with such a large, competitive cricket league. We are looking forward to the cup competitions and developing our relationship with the clubs."

Last year saw Tetley’s launch the No.3 Pale Ale brewed at Leeds Brewery. The recipe for this was inspired by the original recipe for Pale Ale which was initially brewed over 150 years ago and plucked from Tetley’s extensive beer archive spanning over 200 years. Tetley’s then went on to release its first range of bottled ales in four years, also brewed exclusively at Leeds Brewery.
