The GMCL will be running 7 junior representative sides in 2021 - U11 East, U11 west, U13 East, U13 West, U15 East, U15 West and U18s.
This season has seen some changes with the player pathway and the league teams are now the main pathway to the Lancashire squads. We have coaches in place and Lancashire Development coaches are supporting our teams.
Players who perform well, will be put forward to the county and the intention is to give a number of players an opportunity to attend the Lancashire Development Centres over the winter. The GMCL are also looking at our winter development programme with a view to supporting and developing those players just below the county level.
Information will follow next week on the Under 11s, 13 and 15s but we would like to receive nominations for the U18’s by Monday 17th May. Please complete the nomination form by clicking the link below. We expect Under 18 nominees to already be performing and playing a high standard of cricket (1st XI Cricket). There may be exceptions to this and if you feel an individual should be nominated then feel free to contact us.
No Lancashire Academy or EPP (Emerging Player Programme) players are eligible.
