Following penalty point deductions issued in respect of yesterday's fixtures we can confirm that Denton St Lawrence Cricket Club are champions for the 2019 season and we congratulate them on an excellent season, we will have the trophy presentation at Sycamore Park on Saturday 7th September as they host Stand CC.
We introduced new rules this season for points penalties for those failing to fulfil fixtures and are saddened to be applying this for the first time at this stage of the season. The new rule has successfully reduced the number of forfeited games this season, particularly at the latter stages ensuring all our divisional titles are being fought for to the end of the season, on the field as they should be.
Congratulations to DSL who have been a very strong team this season and become worthy double winners adding the League title to the Derek Kay Cup won at Roe Green earlier in the season.
