It was a washout in Div 2A but 3 results were posted in Div 2B but unfortunately for Glossop the match timings rules were not followed and so there organised 20 over game was not acceptable as a result so was treated as abandoned game,
2B leaders Saddleworth made short work of Wythenshawe, bowling them out for just 58 with Mohammed Shakir (12.2 overs 5 for 22) and Steven Howard (8 overs 5 for 13) doing the damage. Saddleworth posted 61 for 3 off 12 to take 5 points.
At Windsor Park, Denton West beat Springhead (144ao) on DLS after being set 29 off the last 4 overs with a target of 101 which they achieved off 16.1 overs.
The Division is now calculated on Average points after games were postponed for Covid after July 19. Saddleworth lead the way with 4.81 and West's victory takes them to seventh with 2.50 average.
